A media notice was published in the People’s Post Woodstock / Maitland / Atlantic/ City on Tuesday, 08 March 2022, to announce the commencement of a 30-day commenting period on the draft Environmental Basic Assessment Report for the above project. It was indicated in the media notice that the commenting period commences on 11 March 2022 and ends on 11 April 2022.
The commenting period has been postponed and will now commence on 18 March 2022 and end on 20 April 2022.
Opportunity to participate: From 18 March 2022 onwards, the draft Basic Assessment Report may be accessed at www.enviropart.co.za under the Public Participation tab. A hard copy of the report will be placed at the Kensington Public Library from 18 March 2022 until 20 April 2022.
